Host a Photo Biz Boot Camp!

So you’d like to HOST a Photo Biz Boot Camp ?

Calling all fabulous hosts!!

If you are a photographer who has a knack for hosting, and wants to bring Photo Biz Boot (BBC) camp to your city – this may be for you!

WE ARE SEEKING HOSTS WHO WILL:

• Provide Space for 8-12 individuals to sit comfortably in a small-group environment for the duration of the BBC. We host the BBC Atlanta in a home-based studio so if you do not have a large retail studio know that hosting at your home is an option if space allows – and there are no distractions. We meet 10AM to around 6PM Day One, 8am-8PM Day Two, and approximately 8AM to Noon Day Three. The location should have ample space to allow for attendees to plug in laptops, take notes, and have us sit around in a circle for most of the group discussions. Food and beverages will need to be permitted.
• Lunches. Provide lunch and perhaps a few snacks, and some beverages. We often do working lunches so something quick and simple is necessary.  Most hosts in the past find that getting bread, lunch meats/cheeses, and toppings with some chips and fruit is a good option for one day (people can make their own sandwiches to their liking) and doing something like pizza and salads works great for another lunch. Also, it’s nice to have a little bit of “brain food” snacks out and some water and beverages.   This can be very inexpensive and simple. Convenience is key for lunch. We’ll do the wine-and-dine part for dinner, which we take care of.
• Marketing the BBC locally so that eight additional studios are registered no later than 30 days before the start date. We send updates every few weeks to let you know who has registered. Once registrations start coming in, we will work with you on the logistics and mail you your copy of the Profit Center DVD.
• Assist with Logistics including: recommending hotel accommodations, provide transportation from hotel to BBC location, recommend local restaurants for dinner. Assist with delivery, set-up, and cleaning up after meals if necessary.
• Minimum of Six Studios Attending In order to make Boot Camp happen in other cities, we need at least six other studios signed up (besides you and us).  If there is less we will need to re-evaluate and cancel or reschedule to another date.  If your BBC has 8-10 studios then we throw in some bonus items for you too!
• Provide Address and Contact Information for you and BBC location to us so that we may share this with attendees.

IN EXCHANGE HOSTS RECEIVE:

• Complimentary registration for you and another individual from your studio ($1698+ value) if at least six studios attend (not including you or us)
• Profit Center DVD that we encourage you to review before class.
• We do registration, you don’t have to! We set up the registration online for you so all you have to do is direct individuals to the site and have them sign up
• Dinner is on us. Dinner is included for Day 1 and Day 2 for both you and the other person from your studio.  Usually we go out one night and order in on day two as that day goes longer.
• Continued Education and Support. Access to Complete Business Makeover Lessons will keep you on track year-round with lessons and reminders about what to do, when.
• Bonus items if 8-10 studios attend!

Important Note: While we try to keep the size to eight or nine studios plus the host studio to keep a small-group environment, it’s been our experience that there are ALWAYS last-minute cancellations/emergencies that keep people from attending. Due to this trend, we will allow the Boot Camp to book up to twelve studios, so that if some cancel, we will still have enough studios to make it worthwhile for everyone.

We’ve had experiences with groups of all sizes now and the 8-10 studio range seems ideal, but we’re able to work with more or less just as easily.

Things that have proven to help attendance in the past includes: blog, twitter, and facebook posts to get the word out, keeping communications up between you and the participants, group get-togethers ahead of time to work on the Profit Center DVD, and encouraging those from out of town to make travel arrangements early.

The rate for a BBC outside Atlanta is $999 to cover the additional travel expenses. We offer a reduced rate to attendees from the same studio attending together – they get 1/2 off registration for the 2nd person to attend.  They MUST be working on the same business.  Last but not least, the Complete Business Makeover includes Boot Camp Registration so if folks want to sign up for $99 a month (for 12 months) it’s a great way to space out those payments, plus get some extras!
